Principal
John has worked as a structural engineer in the Washington, DC metropolitan area since 1982. He is an expert in forensic and investigative engineering, and has performed thousands of structural consultations, investigations and condition assessments of commercial and residential buildings. John founded RESolutions in 1999, which specializes in problem solving for residential structures
Matt Rudy-Logue, P.E.
Managing Owner
Matt joined the RESolutions team in 2009. He is an expert in the design and analysis of residential structures, ranging from additions, renovations, row-houses, and single-family homes to large, multi-family apartment and condominium buildings. Matt was named Managing Owner of Residential Engineering Solutions in 2022, where he serves as chief engineer to the company’s clients and projects, and manages the day-to-day operations of the firm.
Kyle Jirsa, E.I.T.
Project Engineer
Kyle joined Residential Engineering Solutions in 2018, and is quickly becoming the company’s specialist in engineering feasibility investigations.
A 2013 graduate of the University of Maryland’s Civil Engineering program, Kyle has been with local firms in the DC/Baltimore metro areas for his engineering career to date.
